Activities brightened the overcast, sometimes foggy weekend. There was the Bethel Builders Cookie Walk today at 2 P.M. Besides offering decorated cans for cookies there was free cake and coffee. The lovely array of Christmas cookies offered tempting favorites. Yesterday there was a community potluck at the Washington Island School followed by a holiday presentation at the TPAC. This included Island students performing a variety of entertainment to get attender in the Christmas spirit. After the TPAC, it was back to the school for desserts. A sweet ending to the day. Earlier on Saturday, Santa made an appearance at Mann's Store. Many parents got a great photo op and an idea of what their little ones wanted for Christmas. Today there was also the annual Christmas Bird Count.
